I believe every student deserves to be seen — not just as a learner, but as a whole person with strengths, a story, and a future worth investing in. That belief has shaped my whole career in education.
I joined Strafford during the 24-25 school year, after more than ten years working alongside students and educators throughout Maine. I've led MTSS, PBIS, and SEL teams because I believe school should be a place where every learner can find their footing and thrive — where high standards and a nurturing environment go hand in hand. I care just as much about supporting the adults who support kids.
My path includes a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Maine, a B.S. in Special Education from Saint Joseph's College, and my roots at Great Bay Community College. Outside of school, I'm usually singing with my local choir, talking sharks or Broadway, and exploring Maine and New Hampshire with my husband Christopher and our son Finnegan.
I am excited and honored to join the Strafford School community as your new Assistant Principal! As I begin my 29th year in education, I look forward to building relationships with our students, families, and staff while helping create a school where every child feels a sense of belonging, is challenged to grow, and knows they are celebrated and supported.
Originally from New Jersey, I came to New Hampshire to attend Keene State College and quickly fell in love with the Seacoast, where my husband and I raised our two sons. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new places.
