Strafford School Extracurricular Clubs and Athletics
At Strafford School, our extracurricular clubs and athletics program is designed to complement and enhance the academic experience of our K-8 students. We are committed to providing diverse opportunities that foster personal growth, build character, and develop life skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our Mission
To empower every student to discover their passions, develop their talents, and build lasting friendships through meaningful participation in clubs, activities, and sports. We strive to create experiences that promote teamwork, leadership, resilience, and sportsmanship while celebrating the unique contributions of each individual.
Our Core Values
Inclusion: Every student is welcomed and encouraged to participate regardless of skill level or experience
Character Development: We emphasize integrity, respect, responsibility, and kindness in all activities
Growth Mindset: We celebrate effort, improvement, and learning from both successes and challenges
Community: We build connections between students, families, and staff that strengthen our school community
Balance: We support students in developing time management skills and maintaining academic excellence alongside extracurricular involvement
Our Commitment
We provide qualified, caring adult mentors who guide students in developing not only specific skills but also confidence, leadership abilities, and a lifelong love of learning and healthy competition. Through our programs, students learn to work collaboratively, solve problems creatively, and contribute positively to their community.
