Little Spartans Preschool

Program Information

The Little Spartans Preschool program is an integrated classroom that includes typical children and children with disabilities. The classes range from 3-5 years old of differing abilities. Placement in a preschool class is based on openings and not the student's ability. Children must be 3 years old and a resident of Strafford to attend the preschool program.   Preschool Hours are 9:00-11:30.

Toileting: entering preschool, typical students need to be independent in the bathroom.  If your child is not completely independent, please know we can set up a short-term plan for supporting your child.

Curriculum

It is a play-based learning environment.  Our program learning is based on Lively Letters, Handwriting without Tears, Social Thinking, Counting through practice, books, music and movement.  A child with identified needs may receive speech, occupational or physical therapy.
