Care Givers Daily Responsibility for School Attendance

Parent/guardian needs to assess their student at home each morning for the most common symptoms of COVID-19.

  • Fever or chills (100 degrees or more)

  • Cough (not due to other known causes, such as chronic cough or asthma)

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue (not due to other known cause)

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache (not due to other known causes)

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose (not due to other known causes)

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

If no symptoms: Send your student to school.

If there is any new symptom or a worsening symptom from a known health condition: Do NOT send your student to school. Contact the school and your healthcare provider.
