How You Can Help


For the PTO to be an effective and true representative of the school and its families, it is essential to have parental and school staff involvement. Please come along and participate - this is your PTO.


Attend   the   PTO   meetings

All staff members and parents are encouraged to attend. Meetings are held monthly in the school LMC (Library Media Center). See the Events Calendar.


Cash   Donations

Cash donations are tax-deductable and always appreciated. Mail checks payable to Strafford School PTO to Strafford PTO, 22 Rollercoaster Road #1, Strafford, NH 03884. Tax ID number is 02-047909.


Volunteer   a   helping   hand   with   PTO   social   events

To volunteer for any of the following events, contact Deisha Thivierge or Erin Swansburg. Keep in mind this is a great way to accumulate community service hours for Coe-Brown students!


   

Kindergarten  -  Ice  Cream  Social

    Date: Thursday before school starts
Volunteers needed: 3 for ice cream scooping
Donation of ice cream, plastic ware, bowls, & toppings needed.


   

Pumpkin  Hollow

    Date: October - Saturday before Trick or Treat night. Usually the 3rd Saturday of the month.
Volunteers needed: 40-50 for help with event operation and organization.
Donations: Bags of candy, baked goods, soups, stews and chili as well as soda, water, and juice to sell in the cafe.


   

Holiday  Shopping  Spree

    Date: Thursday before Christmas break
Volunteers needed: several people to help the children wrap their presents.
Donations: Items needed for students to purchase (no glass please). Also wrapping paper, tape, gift bags, and tissue paper.


   

Christmas  Craft  Fair

    Date: 1st Saturday in December
Volunteers needed: 5 needed for selling baked-goods & raffle tickets
Donations: 20 or more bakers needed


   

Bakers  Needed

    Date: All year long
Volunteers needed: Varies between events. Pumpkin Hollow, Craft Fair and Teacher Appreciation are the 3 events we need you most.


   

Field  Day

    Date: 3 days in June. (1 day for each: K-2, 3-5, and 6-8)
Volunteers needed: 25 per day for help with event operation and organization.
