ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY
Pupils trying out for, or participating in, sports or other co-curricular activities must meet eligibility requirements that are specified in the school’s Academic Eligibility Policy. In general, students need D’s or better on their most recent reports to be eligible for sports & co-curricular activities. The last report card of the previous year will determine eligibility for extracurricular activities in the fall. Two failures on a mid-term report will render a students ineligible until the next report card with all passing grades is issued. If students have only one failure on an interim report, they may continue to participate in a sport or activity but will be placed on probation. If the student is still failing at report card time, the student will no longer be eligible to participate. Students must adhere to the school’s Code of Behavior and discipline policies to be eligible to participate. Failure to do so will result in lack of eligibility or suspension from these activities.
